A: A very dark brown with a one finger head that disappears immediately.

S: Almost non-existent. There are very subtle notes of chocolate.

T: Chocolate malt but is very one dimensional. There is a subtle taste of brown sugar in the background. There is no caramel, hops, or special yeast character present.

M: Very watery and has poor carbonation.

O: Not that good of a beer. There is a large amount of improvement to be done.

Pint glassed.

A: Dark brown with ruby highlights and a couple of millimeters of beige head that seeps away in seconds.

S: Deep malty chocolate. Dark and not especially sweet.

T: A two-note combo of chocolate syrup melds with toasty chocolate malts in a fine waltz, with a light hint of bread and molasses tugging at their skirts towards the end. Chocolate
really begins to dominate as it approaches room temp.

M: Smooth and viscous. Sort of a chocolate milk feel that coats the tongue and teeth. Just a little bit chalky. Bubbliness has a faintly harsh, soda-like quality to it.

O: More and more chocolate beers are being brewed these days. Sam's chocobock is still good, but the competition looks like it's going to be getting stiffer. Still wonderful to have on a cold winter night.

A- pours a deep brown but not quite black, with a very good amount of head retention

S- smells like a beer with serious cocoa involved

T- This beer goes down smooth. From start to finish you can taste the chocolate.

M- Not to carbonated, very smooth and chocolatey from start to finish. Wonderful taste for the style.

O- Really liked this beer. Not big on this style but Sam Adams hit this one out of fenway park. I would love to drink this as a dessert after a good dinner. Well Done!
Cheers!
