33cl brown glass bottle with standard pressure cap served into an imperial pint glass in high altitude Denver, CO. Reviewed live.
A: Five finger head of nice cream, good thickness, and good retention - though it's only four percent. Clear yellow-copper colour.
Sm: Lemon-lime citrus ester hops and slightly off barley. Not really appealing. Aroma is mild in strength.
T: Very light lemon esters, light weak barley as a foundation, and a nasty faux-cream climax. Best described as abysmal. It isn't even ruined by its simplicity, just by its flavour. Badly built and rather imbalanced.
Mf: Smooth and wet - overly so on both counts. Not at all complementary of the style or the flavours of the body.
Dr: You could easily down it if only you could get past the wretched "flavours". A huge disappointment from Sam Adams.
