First, I would like to say that this is not a Hefeweizen to me. It is an American Wheat beer. The appearance is light cloudy orange. The head was dissapointing when compaired to a good wheat beer. It started off big, but settled down to a lace around the glass. The smell is grainy and bread like. There is some faint fruitiness from the yeast present. The taste is a malty bread like grain. There is a fruitiness from the yeast that is expected for the style. How ever it is not very complex. The mouthfeel is smooth and semi-dry. The drinkabilty is fairly nice, because the beer is a good thirst quincher. I ussualy expect more some Sam Adams. This hefeweizen is average at best when compaired to an American Wheat beer.
