12 oz bottle served chilled in a pint glass.
Appearance: Cloudy orange topped by a small bright white head. Retained a small cover of foam for most of the consumption. Clingy specks of foam and such were left on the glass.
Smell: Mild aromas of phenolic cloves, bubblegum, and some faint citrus, Yeast and wheat overtones.
Taste: Sweet, mildly sour, taste of wheat malts. Faint clove on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, rather crisp. Mildly refreshing.
Drinkability: They call this a hefe? Yeah, I guess it's an American Pale Wheat beer, but given the name and the "brewmaster's series" appelation, I'm reviewing this as a hefe. Cope. Too toned down for the masses, and on a style that doesn't really need it. I'll skip this and go for an authentic German(style) hefe.
