Poured from bottle to an imperial pint. Best by SEP 2011 notched on label.
A: Extremely dark brown, just a hint of cola around the edges when you hold the pint up to the light. Darker than the last Guinness Draught I poured. Thick cocoa head that dissipates faster than Guinness but is leaving excellent lacing.
S: Vanilla cream, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and earth. Nice.
T: Coffee, chocolate nibs, caramel, vanilla, milk, and roasted barley. Excellent.
M: Smooth and creamy without feeling chunky. A bite of carbonation and subdued hops on the back end.
O: Great stout in general, and an excellent milk/sweet stout. Not too sweet, perfect balance of flavors. One of the best beers I've had that is readily available at the same price as a Boston Lager.
