12 oz bottle as part of a variety pack into a tulip
A: Deep ruby-auburn. Clear. Pours 2" head of tight beige bubbles. Falls but maintains a presence. Okay lace.
S: Caramel, fruity (almost berry?) notes, baking spices and a slight metallic note on the alcohol aroma with a touch of banana.
T: Rich sweet bready malt. Very bitter finish. The spiciness isn't over the top but is a little muddled. Not sure about this one. Some clovey phenols seem to present themselves on the finish.
M: A little astringent (dry/bitter).
O: Not great. Only okay.
