A - Pours a deep mahogany brown into my sam adams pint glass, nice half finger of fairly dense toffee colored head. Moderate thin lacing, little retention
S - Caramel, sweet rich malts, toffee, chocolate, slightly roasty. Cinnamon and orange is prevalent. Maybe a bit nutty, dark fruits as well.
T - Caramel + toffee sweetness, little spice, little orange, dark fruits. Sweeter at the beginning and fruitier at the end. spice up front kind of gets in the way of the experience of the other flavors a little bit. Pretty tasty, a wee bit dry.
M - Medium bodied or less, lots of carbonation (and spice up front) mask some of the flavors I am trying to experience but make the brew more drinkable at the same time, still would like less carbonation
O - Probably my favorite from the winter collection (although the revamped the lineup this year). Really good, I wish the carbonation and spice didnt over power the toasty sweetness at the beginning as much as it does.
