Winter variety pack purchase
A: Pours a beautiful dark amber color with a thick rocky light tan head. Very clear with red highlights, very nice looking beer.
S: Light spices are noticable, ginger, cinnamon for sure There is a mix of malts and spices. The smell of orange peels is missing for me. I get no hop aroma.
T: The taste is average. Again, ginger and cinnamon are present here. Also, there is a bit of crystal malt here producing a light malty flavor. No hop flavors.
M: The mouth feel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with good carbonation.
O: This is a decent seasonal, but it's one and done for me. Not quite balanced, although the style is fine and it does its job as a warmer in the end.
