Appearance: Old Fezziwig pours a dark brown, close to black with nice mahogany and ruby highlights. There is about a finger of light tan head that reduces down fairly quickly, leaving little lacing.
Smell: Very malty as is expected from this winter warmer. The roasted malts provide most of the scent, but there is also some dark fruits and caramel as well. Maybe a hint of floral hops at the end.
Taste: Roasted malts up front provide the bulk of the taste. Dark fruits and smooth caramel are there as well, and there is maybe a bit of hop bitterness at the end. A very nice flavor to warm up with on a cold night.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability: This beer is medium bodied with light carbonation, very smooth. I find it very easy to put down, especially for its style. A nice offering from Boston Beer Co., this is one of my favorites from them.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip glass. Pours a rich dark brown, almost black with ruby undertones. A medium sized tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a lot of thin lacing.
Smell is heavy in caramel and cocoa, a lot of citrus as well dark fruits, and a faint amount of cinnamon and ginger.
Taste is sweet chocolate, caramel, and toffee malts up front. The spices come through, especially towards the finish which all together makes for a really nice flavor profile front to back as the chocolate remains strong throughout. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy.
Overall, a really good, balanced winter warmer, always worth having a few each year.
