This pour is what you would expect - a foamy, reddish glass of beer with the slight cloudiness of the yeasts.
The opening nose of this beer was a fruity spice with more than a hint of cranberry. The nose was pretty full, but missing the tartness of some of the more traditional lambic varieties from Belgium.
The taste was very fruity, not very much like my experiece with a true lambic but still very good. The cranberry accents are strong and more than a little sweet - sweeter than some of my favorite lambics. The mouthfeel is fairly light and the flavor hangs on the tongue, though the sweetness is a little stronger than I would have preferred. As with most fruit beers, it was good for a single beer, but I woudn't want to drink more than that at a sitting.
