this beer has a lower average score than sam adams light, so it obviously ain't gettin much love from other BAs.
i don't understand how other people can knock it as a "not a real lambic" and then also criticise it for being too tart and sour.
i wouldn't call it a traditional lambic but sam adams cranbeery lambic is actually a pretty decent sour ale. the cranberries aren't really all that overpowering. i actually thought the beer had a nice yeasty, tart belgian-style flavor. i recommend this beer to someone who wants to find a decent, inexpensive american versio of a more sour belgian beer.
