Poured from a bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: Very dark almost black, with nice dark tan head. The head did not last very long time, but did leave a nice foam coating on the inside of the glass.
Smell: Pleasant, with a nice balance. Can smell both the hops and roasted malts, but neither dominates the other.
Taste: A nice mix of hops and malts, and the hops are a little more prominent than in other porters. There are hints of some sweetness from the malt. There is a nice mix of hop and malt influence in the after taste.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, and with an average body.
Overall: This is an interesting porter, and worth drinking again.
Serving type: bottle
