2009 Bottle (MII) poured by my buddy at the local homebrew shop.
A: Copperish brown much like a scottish ale or lighter bock. Almost not head. Coats the glass with a viscosity much like a great red wine.
S: Cognac and sweet malt. Not much like beer.
T: Very sweet up front. The best tasting Cognac. Good. Really smooth and drinkable. Way better than any other high abv beer I've had. Smoother than most 11% abv barley wines.
M: Very sweet and fully bodied. Alcohol is present but not harsh. Sweetness helps mask most of the alcohol.
O: Fantastic beer. Really only would drink on special occasions. Felt sophisticated drinking it. Would want more and more if it wasn't so damn expensive.
