Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
A- pours a very dark brown, nearly black...some light seeps through, but not a whole lot. Head is 3 finger, a very light brown...nice and puffy. Lacing is fantastic, all the way up the glass.
S- smell is pretty heavily honey based, but I'm getting hints of roasted malts and...cola? Yeah, a little bit like a brown ale in there. Interesting
T- its REALLY sweet, but I should have expected that from something called HONEY porter. Aside from the sweetness...getting some smokiness and the roasted malts...but dear god, that sweetness just lingers...its really unappealing
M- feel is ok. Low carb, not a lot of body...pretty easy drinking. BUT RAWR ITS A DARK BEER! Please. Its thin.
D- don't think this one is for me. Waaay too sweet...
