Dark mahogany brown body that shuns almost all light through it--a two-finger head that settles to a disparate brown ring... smooth, crisp aromatic scents, straightforward ale with a heavier, porterish feel... smooth--not quite oily--and slick presence that has little lingering effects--highly drinkable... withy a soda-like body, the brown element is nice, a bit porterly without the extra nut element that I prefer in a brown... pleasant and drinkable, pairs nicely with the day's turkey and gravy... solid beer that would fit in a sampler well, even as a six-pack pickup for a party--but not in the realm of the upper class Browns...
