12oz notched Dec 2007.
Head leaves a 1/8 inch thick layer on top after settling, with great foam curtains dripping down the sides of the glass. Color is a fairly dark brown, slightly darker than the label.
Scent is of toasted nuts and slightly minty hops with a touch of coffee. Pretty faint.
Exceedingly smooth and gently sweet. Very little bitterness. Taste is very friendly and mild. Good or bad? Depends how you feel about sweet and tame. Not watery, though.
Mouthfeel is light, slightly creamy and aerated.
Very drinkable, goes down super fast. Might get tired of the sweetness if I tried to drink a 12 pack, but with 2 in the mixed box, it was enjoyable. Nothing fantastic, nothing wrong, which I imagine is just what they were aiming for.
