Brownish amber in the glass with a small head that fizzles out quickly with a bit of slippery lacing.
Aromas has a spicy yeastiness with hints of clove and banana.
Flavor comes back to the spicy yeastiness hinted at in the aroma with full flavors banana and clove with a bit of dark caramel and a bit of a tart twang on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and silky smooth, carbonation is on the light side.
Overall a decent drinking been. perhaps I need more exposure to Dunkelweizens in order to develop a better critique of the style.
