Served in a bottle poured into a pint glass.
A- Golden orange copper appearance without much head at all.
S- Extremely hoppy. Probably the hoppiest scent I have ever smelled in a beer. Has another scent that I can't exactly put my finger on... perhaps a fruit or spice.
T- Extremely bitter beer. The beer is initially sweet when you drink it, but finishes very dry. Very hoppy beer.
M- Bitter, not smooth at all.
D- I couldn't have more than one of these in a sitting honestly. I love hoppy beers, but this one is definitely overboard.
Overall I feel the same way about this beer that I do other Sam Adams products. They just don't live up to the hype.
