Pours hazy straw/light orange color, great white head with great lacing. This is a very good looking beer.
Smells are strongly of hops, bitter tastes up front. Although very pleasant the hoppyness is a bit one dimensional and a bit out of balance. There is a bit of a malt backbone there but not much. Alcohol is suprisingly well hidden.
Overall this is a very solid brew, I would say it's the best Sam Adams beer I've had yet and would definitely buy it again.
