This beer is a nice cloudy orange and there is a nice head that lingers for a while. The smell is hoppy and sweet. Citrus, pine, and scented candle smells are present as well. The taste is more like an ipa. Hop tastes last much longer than the brew. A very nice aftertaste. Drinkability is good as well. For a beer approaching 9% this is dangerous. I could drink this beer again and again, although I probably shouldn't. The Sam Adams glass presents the beer well.
