This was one of my first hoppy beers that I fell in love with. One of the best beers in the pilsner catagory.
It pours a hazy hay color with a medium light head, that dissapates slowly.
Aroma is of citrus hops first then earthy, piney, spicy and floral hops. The Hallertau veriety is very good and complex it seems. I guess when you use a lot of them the more differing characteristics come out. Wonderful!
The flavor is a hop balm. It is a little bitter with a lot of hop flavor and a little alcohol and malt sweetness.
It is full bodied with a little too much alcoholicness. Couldv'e been a lot more smooth.
Can only have 1 or 2. But I highly recommend you try it. I love it.
