All I can say is that I am very grateful that this beer has returned. Poured in to a sniffer glass a somewhat hazy orange glow, with white heading that has nice retention. Smell has traces of tropical fruit (pineapple maybe) as well as an extreme spicy character from the hops. Taste is all about the hops on this one. It seems balanced to some degree, but the aftertaste leaves such a bitter hop flavor in the mouth that it becomes difficult to taste anything else. Mouthfeel is full bodied, and has a bit of that imperial sweetness from the alcohol. My feeling on this one is the hell with balance. This is a serious hop head brew that is sure to please. Even if you don't like hops though, certainly worth experiencing, as this doesn't quite taste like anything else. Too bad this is a limited offering in that I would sip it all year round. Cheers
