P: Hazy dark brown and amber tinted body with a small dollop of quickly fading khaki head.
S: Belgian candy malts, roasted caramel, toffee and banana eaters. Warming rich pumpkin pie aroma, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and pie bread yeast. Reminds me of cold days around a fire and thanksgiving.
T/M: Medium-full body explodes into an array of pumpkin spiced bread and banana bread. Following the nose with traditional holiday spices and pumpkin it also introduces bitter herbal notes, candied apples and a hint of metallic presence. The taste is more subtle than the nose but has a good deal of pumpkin flavoring. Sharp carbonation on a dry finish and lingers pumpkin gingerbread cookies.
O: I was excited to try this and expected great things. Its a good pumpkin beer than has all the flavors expected but has no bang to it. Probably not on my top list but a decent take on the style.
