Aroma: Light spice notes up front. Reminds me of cinnamon and nutmeg. Possible clove aromatics as the beer warms.
Appearance: Ruby red with a low off white head.
Flavor: More nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Earthy background hops provide some bitterness. Balance is to the malt which is doughy and present among all the spices. Finish is clean and dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with high carbonation. No astringency, creaminess, or warmth.
Overall impression: A spicy, easy drinking brown ale. The spices seem kind of disjointed and nothing jumps out at me and says "pumpkin" but maybe that's ok. Appropriate for the season.
