Poured into a Sam Adams glass, which is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom.

Beautiful amber color with a good head that doesn't last long.

Aroma is more pumpkin pie spices than pumpkin.

Taste is pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, roasted malt. Of the pumpkin pie spices, hints of cinnamon and brown sugar are definitely there. Everything is well balanced.

A bit dry, but refreshing and no sacrifice to quality.

Nice beautiful amber colored beer. Pours with a nice full creamy white head.It has a soft pleasant smell, doesn't really hit you in the face with the pumpkin in the smell which to some might be a plus, i'd prefer a little more pumpkin smell. Upon sipping it's a bit more complex tasting for a beer of this style. It has a nice spiced pumpkin flavor that stays with you. The pumpkin is pretty subtle but this is a full flavored easy drinking beer. I'd buy it again if there weren't so many others to try.

12oz bottle into a stella artois-esque chalice
Best before: Feb 2015

A: Pours a deep, dark cooper with nice ruby hues when held to light. 2 fingers width of tan head builds and then has good retention. A good amount of lacing clings to the sides of the glass. 4.25

S: Lots of cinnamon, and some other spicy notes; pumpkin and doughy yeast. Honestly smells a lot like pumpkin pie. Very nice. 4.25

T: Not as good as the aroma, not even close. Caramel malts, some bitterness, generic spiciness, and faint pumpkin. 3

M/D: Medium bodied, carbonation on the heavier end but appropriate. Drinkability is fair. 3.5

O: Great aroma, but a big let down in the taste. Ill have the other one that came in the variety pack, but after that I dont see myself having this again in the future. 3.5

More spices than pumpkin or malt in the aroma. Heavier of the nutmeg. Softer aroma overall.
Good looking, great dark amber that looks like autumn. Tan head that does settle out rather quickly.
More malt in the taste with a clear caramel flavor, but the spice is there too and pushed towards the front. Pumpkin is too much in the background for me, it is very hard to find.
Moderately light feel with the powdery feel from the herb.
This is fine. Nothing exceptional.
