12oz brown bottle with a freshness date on the label.

Pours a cloudy beige with rose highlights, decent lacing on the glass. Slight cranberry tartness and lemony fermented wheat in the aroma with a quick whiff of tart plum in the back. Nice and smooth with a quick snap of crispness on the light to medium body. There is a cranberry presence here but it seems a bit withdrawn and not whole, more of the tartness without any real depth. I am sure it a pretty hard to capture that depth in a beer though. Spicing is modest with the wheat coming forward a bit more. Within the spicing is cinnamon which really works in this beer as it plays against the tartness. Spicy, semi-tart dry finish lingers for a good while.

Good stuff all around, this clearly should be upgraded to at least a winter seasonal and give the Cranberry Lambic the axe. As for cooking with it, I could see basting a turkey with this beer for sure ...

I've had this bottle in the fridge for such a long time, finally got around to reviewing it. Served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass. Beer is amber and hazy with a pinkish tinge to it, soft white head, medium bubbles, some lacing, moderate carbonation.

Aroma is sweet with mild vegetalness.

Beer is spicy / sweet with some fruitiness and a grainy finish. Maybe it always tasted like this but I'm not a fan. I got the review but I sort of regretted it. I did drink the whole thing though, wouldn't have it again.
