A-Pours a pitch black color with a huge dark brown sugar creamy head that has ok retention and excelent lacing.
S-The aroma is pungent with roasty characteristics. Very straight foward. Maybe some earthy hops way in the back. Some chocolate malt too.
T-Much like the aroma. Lots of roasted barley and some chocolate too. A bitterness that just barely keeps it from being sweet. It's not sweet but it's very malty.
M-Has a huge silky body and it's slightly dry in the finish.
D-It goes down very smooth but there is a very noticable alcohol presence. I wouldn't say it's fusal though. I think it goes down very well for the style and abv. Very nice beer indeed.
