A- Pours a coal black color with a huge dark brown head that leaves great lacing. Very impressive to say the least. A truly beautiful looking stout.
S- Deep roasted malt with some faint char and sweetness. Sort of an Ovaltine quality present.
T- Similar to the nose, but much more intense. Sweet chocolate and coffee initially with some oak and black licorice in the finish. A good dose of alcohol throughout and a light hop bitterness to keep things balanced.
M- Full bodied with good carbonation. Deep and roasted with a smooth feel.
O- A very solid beer from a very solid brewery. It would be cool to try this with some age and maybe even some different flavor variations (bourbon, coffee, etc).
