Poured into a standard pint glass.
A: Pours a faint orangish color. I'm tyring to imagine a wit bier with a little reddish purple blackberry color mixed in. Yep, that's what it looks like. There was very little head on my glass. Just left a 1/4" ring of foam around the edge of the glass that did stick to the glass as it drank. This was not a "hazy" wheat beer but it had dark paticulates suspended in the beer. As I slowly finished this beer I noticed they did settle toward the bottom of the glass.
S: Kind of a purfume smell, the blackberry, I guess on top of a wheat beer base. About what I thought it should be but a little too strong on the purfume for me.
T: A tart wit beer with a noticeable bit from the wheat and the carbonation. The blackberry taste is much more subdued than the aroma. I like that the berry flavor is not overly strong.
M: Mostly bubbly carbonation with with a tart tingle.
D: Wheat beers of any stripe are not my favorite so for me this would only be an occasional indulgence. For those who like wheat beers I could see them having several. A solid witbier with no strong faults.
