Appearance: Hazy apricot-color brew, thin head, no lacing. Fine carbonation present but barely noticeable due to the haze (appropriate for the style, however).
Smell: the smell of berries hits up front, with background notes of wheat.
Taste: The fruitiness is much more delicate on the tongue than SA's Cherry Wheat beer, but it remains the dominating flavor. The wheat comes through finally in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light and scouring.
Drinkability: This is a refreshing late summer brew, but it will doubtless not appeal to many. I can't help but feel despite the label's talk of Marion blackberries that the flavor is little more than the same sort of flavoring one can buy at any brewing stone. Still, not a bad brew.
