Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass.
Appearance: Beer is a translucent golden color with visible carbonation. Head is rich and frothy, and bubbles down to a ring of foam around the edges.
Smell: Heavy on the blackberries. Just one notch lower is a beautiful lemon-infused sweet-bread tone. Very good mix here.
Taste/Mouthfeel: The sourness from the blackberries jumps right out from the get-go and never really lets go. Some moderate breadiness tries to tame the beast, but does not succeed. A deceiving nose, as the taste is mostly grass and stale bread. Aftertaste is strangely similar to special brownies...unsettling.
Overall: It's not terrible; definitely not my cup of tea, but not terrible. Stick to straight ales and lagers, Sam.
