Pours dark and with a substantial head. The nose smells cocoa and chocolate malt. Taste is thick and malty. This reminds me of a stout or a porter? Finishes sweet with a little alcohol accent. This is good stuff. This would go well with a nice steak.

Pours a medium brown with caramel highlights and minimal cream head that dissipates to almost nothing.
Deep caramelization, melanoidins. Toasted, nutty malt.
Lots of kettle caramelization, slightly sweet melanoidin character. Enough toasted malt to counter the sweetness and nuttiness to finish things out. Slightly bitter finish. A touch of roast and dark cherries.
Body is fairly full with minimal carbonation and substantial alcohol warmth.
Nice melanoidin character, not cloyingly sweet, but a bit hot.
Serving type: on-tap
