A - Poured a dark amber color with a light head.
S - Smells of caramel and spice with some alcohol (but in a good way as it smells like it will warm you up).
T - Tastes of caramel malts and molasses. It has a spicy quality that works well as a transition to a faint hoppiness. It does finish with that alcohol warmth but still in a warming way.
M&D - Mouthfeel is creamy and mouthcoating but with some carbonation. Maybe it's the cool weather but it is more drinkable than I would have thought an Imperial Double Bock would be.
Overall this is a really good beer. I will definitely be purchasing this sporadically through the winter but it's definitely that, a winter beer (obviously since it is seasonal).

Rating from notes. Consumed November 2013. "Great looking bock with stellar aromas and a velvety palate, but I expected bolder flavours from this one. Still, worth trying IMO."

This is a strong brew from my recollection. I love the thick, malty syrup feel of it. I recall one night having consumed 3 and thought, "Uh oh...I forgot to have dinner..." but I was pleasantly full.
I miss this brew. Last I heard it was discontinued, but I saw a recent review so I am hopeful. I was overseas for 2 years and haven't had too much luck finding it here in San Antonio. Checked HEB, Specs, local liquor stores...no luck.
Is it still out there?

Bottle from On the Fly Gasmart. Clear brown pour with medium foamy beige head. Very sweet malty aroma, tree nuts, wood, peat. Taste increases the sweetness, slick, almost syrupy feel. Slightly woody, bitter finish.
