Picked up the mixed 6 pack yesterday at Whole Foods. Cloudy orange in my nonic pint glass with a think, frothy cream colored head. Nice color contrast between head and body. Big aroma of grapefruit, orange creamsicle, Clemson blue cheese, and an undercurrent of 9% alcohol.
Huge pine flavor on the 1st sip, yet somewhat thin in touch. That velvet lasted for a brief second. Pretty damned hoppy and bitter in the middle. Very light in body...this one is all hops. Oily, slick and full of wicked hop flavor. Really thick pine with a hefty dose of grapefruit, which results in a bitter, oily, resiny mouthfeel. A little tough to put down, but really flavorful.
