A - Opaque, molasses red-brown. Medium head, low retention. Moderate spots of lacing.
S - Sweet hops, floral and fruity. Delicious. Like candied grapefruit and other fruits.
T - Bready, piney, fruity... almost like mead. Bitter, but not a straight-up bitterness. Great balance.
M - Great mouthfeel. Well-rounded and smooth.
D - Catches up to you fast. Hoppy and strong, but I could still easily drink another. Reading the label, and seeing that each barrel was brewed with over six pounds of hops, I kind of expected a lip-pucking, bitter experience. Man, this brew far surpassed my expectations.
