Pours a hazy golden copper with a small off-white head. Smells like lemon and sugar. Taste is dry up front, with a sweet light malt profile, and pure grapefruit citrus. The finish is toasted malt, and piney, earthy raw hop bitterness. Very nice. The flavor profile reminds me a lot of Anchor Liberty Ale on steroids, but with more toasted malt flavor in the finish. Very enjoyable. Mouthfeel is great, super rich and creamy, nice carbonation. Quite drinkable, though I like the 12oz bottle as that is plenty to get your hop fix. Wow, I hope Boston Beer makes this year round because this is by far their best offering IMO.
