Pours a hazy, pink color. 1/4 inch head of an off-pink color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of cherry, hint of wood, hint of sugar, slight spice, and slight sweet malt. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of cherry, slight wood, hint of sugar, slight spice, and sweet malt. Overall, decent, but the sugary sweetness is too strong and lacks complexity.

750 ml bottle: this one pours a hazy, darker ruby color. There was a small ruby tinged head that didn’t linger very long. The nose is good. Predominately sour cherry. Getting a bit of the oakiness too. The taste is good. A nice, tart black cherry flavor. Hints of the oak also. A fairly decent amount of malts balancing the cherries. Just a touch sweet. A fairly decent Kriek.
