Cellar aged since purchase. Light thin head. Nice golden amber color like well aged bourbon. Very smooth to drink with floral notes and an nice oaky ending. Love to have a few more in the cellar.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thick, fluffy, white head. Smell is apple, tart, coriander, clove. Taste is cloves, sweet, grass. Feel is a little on the creamy side. Notable alcohol.

Tastes like a Hefeweizen. Rich. Good flavor.

August 22nd, 2015 - This is truly a New World of flavors, aromas and senses, as this Sam Adams beer pushes new frontiers in some odd and quirky directions. It has enough foam to mimic a Duvel Belgian Golden Ale, and a nice, orange body underneath, and it offers a light and springy nose with a touch of pineapple, cream and even greek yogurt tang. But the flavor is a beast to pin down. At first it is grassy and herbal, with parsley, endive and spring lettuce. But then there is a dash of rhubarb. The palate is light and foamy, with a long and bitter aftertaste that wraps up this herbaceous sachet neatly.

Difficult to get started with all of the foam when you try to pour it into the glass, but once you get past that, it’s not very good. Sort of a combination of too sweet and too bitter. Of course, with 10 percent ABV, it starts tasting just fine halfway through. And it ends on a sweet note, with Drak laughing merrily at silly things! 2016/12/11

Light gold colored beer with a slowly fading head. Taste is dark fruits soaked in booze, sweet honey and a nice alcoholic warmth. Overall very good stuff!
