Poured into a pokal glass.
A - Flaxen-yellow, perfect clarity and effervescence. Foamy, rocky white head of 2 fingers, not retained well. Patchy lacing.
S - Piney, citrus hops dominate, some floral notes as well. Avoids that 'green bottle' smell. Very pleasant and subtle bouquet.
T - Follows the hops from the nose. Zesty lemon, pine nuts, and flowers, offset by a solid bready malt base.
M and D - Crisp, dry, really refreshing. Medium body, high carbonation. Super smooth, easy drinking, fabulous.
As a fan of the style, I think this is a sterling American take and I wish it was available year-round. Easily my favorite offering from Boston Beer Co.
