Sam Adams Noble Pils, 12oz's into standard pint. Pours gold, with small bone white head atop. Medium carbonation lends to a enjoyable mouthfeel. Smells of pale malt, light crystal, a wee bit of steamed cabbage(?), faint lemon zest, and a slight touch of grass like hop character. Tastes of Sam Adams usual crystal and pale malts, with a clean hop bitterness, and a touch of citrus. Alot of these Sam Adams beers are starting to all taste of the same basic malts that are being used, and lack complexity often. I buy these buy the 24pk @ Sam's for $19.99, and reuse the bottles for my brew. Not a bad deal considering blank bottles cost $13.99 from my LHBS. Overall, not a bad beer but not anything outstanding either. Cheers!
