Very light straw colored brew. Thin soapy white head that sticks around for a bit but eventually disappears. So transparent, in fact, I can hold the glass up to the computer screen and read the words I am typing.
Smell is clean with citrus and floral hop aromas. Fresh and grassy with a bit of skunk in the nose.
Taste has some bold hops reminiscent of tangerine and lemon rind. Malt mellows it out providing a touch of biscuity goodness. Bit of a skunky after-taste like a Euro pale lager.
Fairly light in mouthfeel and has a crisp texture. Goes down effortlessly and leaves me wanting another sip.
I really like it. It has a complex flavor with plenty of hop character. Very crisp and satisfying. I hope it becomes one of Sam Adams' year round brews.
