12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance: Clear pale, yellow, golden hues with high carbonation and a half-finger white head. Moderate lacing. Clean and filtered.
Smell: Floral notes with a hint of lemongrass. Mild hops are apparent in the background. Slight graininess about it.
Taste: Floral, herbal, citrus, and piney notes. There are slight hops present in the palate, which may be a little too hoppy for the style, but being partial to IPAs, it doesn't bother me. I can sense the graininess holding up the taste. Lingering bready finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Above average carbonation. Crisp.
Drinkability: This beer is really easy to drink. It is very refreshing. Definitely a session beer.
Ending notes: Overall, I would say that this beer represents the style in good light. However, I would most likely not seek it out to purchase more.
