This is a good beer overall. But, it really shouldn't be classified as a Pils. The beer poured a bright yellow with good head and decent carbonation. The aroma was grassy bordering on spicy. The front end of this beer was bready and biscuity. Sweet malts could be detected, which evolved into a citrusy bitterness. The finish was malty and bitter with a definite aftertaste.
This lager lacks the typical continental charataristics one would find in North German Pils. A lot of rough edges -especially concerning balance. Perhaps it needs more time in the cellar.
That said, this is still a good beer. Just don't expect the classic German Pils taste profile.
