Bottle from the LCBO, thanks for holding this one Pino. Best before March 2012? Thanks for bringing it fresh Ontario! Let's go.
Pours a pale gold, with a big dense bright white head. Nice carbonation in the body, with light lace and retention. Nose has some mild and almost faded hops, lemon, citrus, some light grass and some subtle zest. Taste plays off this with more citrus, zest, some hay and general grassiness. An interesting malt sweetness is present, light spicing and restrained bitterness. Good feel, light body and refreshing. Was nice on a moderately warm summers eve, and would be even nicer on a warmer summer afternoon. Fresh next time LCBO, I need this for lawnmowing!
