A: Dark Copper with a huge billowy head that doesn't relent and stains the sides of the glass with sticky lace
S: some definite hop aromas, although there appears to be a definite malt backbone as well
T: As expected from the smell, this is a fairly balanced IPA, although there is still a solid amount of bittering and flavorful hops that makes it a fairly tasty brew
M: Medium bodied with a dry, bitter finish
D: solid, although perhaps not incredible, IPA that is an easy drinker and has enough hop bitterness and flavor to make it worthwhile. It's good to see a Sam Adams do an IPA, and, as expected, they deliver with a solid balanced and sessionable offering. I'd have another!
