A. Poured 2 fingers of a bubbly beige head that sticks around for a while. Only a bit of lacing as much of it seems too heavy to stick around. Body is an orange amber color. Quite a lot of bubbles rushing to the top on this one. Actually a very nice looking beer.
S. Mmmm, IPA smell. I love it. Citrus with emphasis on oranges and of course don't forget the pine hops. Decent malt background balances it out very well.
T. Oh. This is where this comes apart. Very flat kind of flavor. I get the pine, with a good bit of bitterness to it. A bit of caramel malt too, but not as well balanced as the nose told me it would be.
M. Medium bodied, actually slightly creamy going down. Not heavy, just creamy. Dry finish.
O. The lead up was excellent, but the taste of this beer just did not impress me. It honestly kind of assaults the taste buds. Hops! *wham* Now malt! *pow* Meh.
