Deep Cherry-red, filtered clear, with a one-finger, off-white head.
A sweet malt-citrus aroma with a hint of banana.
Greeted with a mild hopped bite. This bitter note fades rapidly. Malts seem weak as well. Taste is far outdone by the aroma and I can't beleive the two have the same origin. A big dissapointment.
Rather liquidy, mild body. On the same token, the carbonation is pleasantly balanced considering the rather weak volume.
Taken together, an average IPA (perhaps that might be considerd to be a stretch). Not too surprising a product from a fringe craft brewery - and that is being a tad bit generous.
