A: Beautiful, dark amber color with a 2 inch soapy, off-white head. Not a lot of carbonation but leaves some nice lacing on the glass.
S: Nice hop aroma with some earthy notes at the front. I get some citrus, a little pine, and a small hint of honey as well.
T: Good hop bite at the front thats accompanied by some pine and citrus. I also get a little roasted malts and honey on the back end.
M: Medium bodied beer that has a very tangy mouth feel, but in a good way. Not too bitter, but has just enough bite to satisfy. The earthy notes and honey balance out the beer well.
O: Ive enjoyed this beer ever since I started drinking it 4-5 years ago, more so now than then as I have experimented with more IPA's recently. Certainly a staple from Sam Adams, and one of the best balanced IPA's out there!
