A: Pale amber, clear, wonderful foamy off-white head. The lacing in amazing.
S: The smell is wonderful...very pungent, herbal and earthy with a faint floral background. It makes me think of saaz or fuggles. Once you get past the hops there is some biscuit malt character to the nose.
T/M: Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. The first taste is of hop bitterness, but immediately the malt backbone of the beer asserts itself.
O: Nicely balanced and easy to drink.
While the flavor is a little subdued it does well to let this beer warm up a little.
