This beer has an amber hue, and the nose is sort of earthy, mildly hoppy, and actually pretty decent nose and look overall. Taste if basically what I would expect from an IPA, but maybe a little bit more on the malty side then west coast style IPAs. Pretty good carbonation. I will admit, I sometimes I feel I am too harsh on Sam Adams... this certainly is not the best IPa I have ever drank, but it's quite drinkable, and is pretty decent taste wise. It is also reasonably priced, and available all over. So in my mind, for these reasons, it is a pretty good beer.
